The Kansas State Wildcats football program has been just out of the spotlight for some time. While they may not have done as well as some of the other Big 12 schools, there is no doubt that great things are happening for the team. With the turmoil that is the college football rankings, it is not hard to think that they could end up higher than anyone thinks. If you are a Wildcats fan, you may have thought about dropping your expensive cable or satellite plan. You should not have to miss out on the Kansas State season just because you don’t have one of them. There are now other alternatives.
No true fan wants to miss out on any games, but you may not want to be financially strapped either. That is why you should look into the OTT streaming services. These stand alone options give you some great pay channels without the cost or obligation of a contract. There are several services that we’ll take a look at in this guide. Be aware if you are planning on traveling abroad during the season, you can still enjoy it. You will just have to connect to a server in the US by using a VPN first.
Use Sling TV to watch Kansas State Football
As part of the Big 12, Sling TV provides you with a great opportunity to watch the games. That is because they offer channels like The Big 12 Network, ESPN, and more. As part of your service, you also have the ability to use the WatchESPN app. You would just use your Sling TV login information, and you would be able to access it. All of this for a lower rate and shorter time than your average cable or satellite service. You could even drop the service after the season if you wish. Not all information is available on network game hosting. What we can tell you is the first one will be played on Saturday, September 2nd at 7:10 pm ET. The station at this time is unknown. With the first opponent being Central Arkansas, our Wildcats are sure to play a good game. The only problem with Sling for watching the games is the lack of access to games on CBS. Though there are none mentioned at this point, there may be some on the schedule. Later games will be scheduled on ESPN, ABC, BTN, and others. Kansas State fans won’t want to miss out on the action. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to try Sling TV free for 7 days to test the service.
Using PlayStation Vue to stream Wildcats Football
Though Sling TV is a good option, others may like to look at the PlayStation Vue streaming service (often called PS Vue). With it, you can get more than 45 channels for $40 a month. This service does not require a contract either. Unfortunately, the Big Twelve Network is not available here. However, if there are any CBS games, you gain access to them. Other channels include ABC, ESPN2, ESPN, CBS, and others At the time of this post, the only assigned game is the Vanderbilt game. It will be played on ESPN U. As you can see, many of your favorite stations to watch football are a part of this service. With CBS being part of this service, PS Vue is one of the only ones to contain all 4 major US Networks. Those features make it a good way to watch your favorite team (the Wildcats, of course!). Before you buy, give the 5-day free trial of PS Vue a shot.
The list of compatible devices include PS3, PS4, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV, Chromecast, iOS, Android, and others. With this one, you have the option of streaming up to 5 devices at one time, and you can also stream and play video games. With those options, PS Vue becomes a good way to watch Willie the Wildcat dance around on the side of the field.
